The command deck is beneath the primary dome. The Ley Runner is approximately 1000 feet long. The Ley Runner is able to run on moderate amounts of mana, but when it locks onto a Ley Line, it can traverse a hemisphere in a matter of minutes.
A leyline isn't a physical object. It's kind of like a stream running both directions that the Ley Runner is in.

But I don't get it at all. If it's running in both directions shouldn't the Ley Runner only be able to move between Earth and Crosssover? Or is it a whole line?
It's an actual line, on both sides. Size varies; the Holy Line is only a few miles long whereas the oceanic ones are pretty much hugenormous.
