The 27 Outlander Confederation's Ley Runner

The command deck is beneath the primary dome. The Ley Runner is approximately 1000 feet long. The Ley Runner is able to run on moderate amounts of mana, but when it locks onto a Ley Line, it can traverse a hemisphere in a matter of minutes.

So if it locks onto a Leyline, which is solid, how can you move?

A leyline isn't a physical object. It's kind of like a stream running both directions that the Ley Runner is in.

There was once a cute little Panda. He was found by a mad scientist and turned into a horrific clockwork monstrosity living in constant agony, whose only purpose in existence was to inflict pain on everything else in existence. The end.
:iconfluffythecornsnake:
But.

But what?

But I don't get it at all. If it's running in both directions shouldn't the Ley Runner only be able to move between Earth and Crosssover? Or is it a whole line?

It's an actual line, on both sides. Size varies; the Holy Line is only a few miles long whereas the oceanic ones are pretty much hugenormous.

Okay. That makes it make sense. So the Ley runners would be EXTREMELY efficient through the sea.

Yes, thus the Outlander Confederation's presently uncontested naval supremacy.

Okay.

Everybody knows that air power trumps everything, though.
